Hey, I’m Nick.

A few years ago, during my master’s degree, I realized something obvious but uncomfortable: nobody was going to hand me financial independence. No inheritance, no lucky lottery ticket, no shortcut. If I wanted it, I’d have to build it: one project, one decision, one mistake at a time.

That’s what Built, Not Bought is.

This is not a “get rich quick” blog. Not a highlight reel of wins (oh absolutely not…). This is a real record of the projects and stuff I’m working on – some meant to make money, some just to teach me something – and everything I’m learning along the way: what worked, what didn’t, and why.

What you’ll find here

The goal isn’t to show a finished, polished path to financial independence. It’s to show the actual one: slower, non linear, and hopefully more useful to anyone walking a similar road.

Follow along

New posts go up regularly, documenting whatever I’m building next. I’m not going to lie, this will require years of work, and probably failures. It’s not a blog about some projects, it’s a blog about a life and a journey. Of course I talk big, mentioning “financial independence”, but I get that this will require years and years.

I hope this blog will become a repository of a great journey. And I hope to inspire those who are interested and curious on the same path.
